The Sifetu_Selat app teaches the precise method of performing Selah (prayer) as instructed by the Prophet (peace be upon him). This app is based on the book formally written by Mohammed Nasirudin Alalbany. We have faithfully preserved his original Arabic text and added Amharic translations to make it accessible to a wider audience of Ethiopian Muslims. We are not Islamic scholars and lack expertise on the order of prayer practices for Ethiopian Muslims. We welcome assistance from anyone who can provide accurate translated materials to ensure the app’s content is both authentic and culturally appropriate. We are happy to incorporate these translations at no cost.
