"Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Canceled Amid Legal and Ideological Issues"

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has recently found itself at the center of controversy after activists, including notable figures like Grummz, targeted the game. The uproar began following the discovery of a series of subpoenas within the game's content. Additionally, news surfaced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 had been banned in Saudi Arabia, fueling rumors about the inclusion of specific content and "progressive" ideas in the game. These developments led to a backlash on social media, with some attempting to cancel the project and dissuade support for the developers at Warhorse Studios.

In response to the swirling rumors, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the PR manager of Warhorse Studios, addressed the situation. He urged the public to trust the developers rather than believing everything they read online. Stolz-Zwilling also provided an update on the game's progress, announcing that review codes would be distributed "in the coming days" following the game's achievement of gold status in early December. These codes are slated to be sent out four weeks prior to the game's release, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to form their initial impressions and prepare their reviews.

Interestingly, Stolz-Zwilling mentioned that the first "final previews" based on portions of the game from the review version should be available just a week after the codes are distributed. This move is intended to generate early buzz and provide a glimpse into what players can expect from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
