Pokemon Go’s first Community Day of 2025 will feature Sprigaito

Get ready for the first Pokémon Go Community Day of 2025! The event kicks off on January 5th, featuring the Grass Cat Pokémon, Sprigatito.

From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, Sprigatito will appear much more frequently in the wild. This is your chance to catch plenty of them!

Evolving your Sprigatito into Floragato and then Meowscarada during the event (or within five hours afterward) will unlock the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn Flower Trick, boosting its combat capabilities.

Community Day bonuses amplify the fun:

• Triple Stardust and double Candy for every Pokémon caught.
• Doubled chance of Candy XL for Trainers level 31 and above.
• Three-hour Lure Modules and Incense.
• Half-price Stardust for trades, plus one extra Special Trade.
