Lawnchair Legacy is a mature, feature-rich version of the Lawnchair launcher, built on the foundation of Launcher3 from Android 9. This edition is currently in maintenance mode, meaning it will only receive essential updates related to the Play Store and security concerns.

Lawnchair leverages the AccessibilityService permission to optionally enhance system accessibility, such as through desktop gestures that can turn off your screen. The app will prompt you to enable this feature if it's required for your specific setup, but it's not necessary for most users. Rest assured, no data is collected via the AccessibilityService; it simply helps execute system commands.

Additionally, Lawnchair can use the Device Administrator permission to lock the screen upon detecting a selected gesture. This feature is optional and comes disabled by default, ensuring you have full control over its use.
