Carplounge V4 Autopilot

Introducing the Carplounge Autopilot system, a revolutionary way to control your BaitBoat using an Android tablet or phone. The Carplounge Autopilot app, available for free on the Google Play Store, is compatible with any Android device equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. This innovative system allows you to connect your tablet to the boat through a Bluetooth transmitter box, enabling full control via the touchscreen. In manual mode, the boat operates just like a traditional BaitBoat, with the added benefit of a touchscreen interface for steering. Real-time updates on the boat's position, route, and orientation are displayed on an interactive map, complete with compass functionality. Additionally, you can use the built-in GPS to save and name promising fishing spots, such as "jetty left," "spot 1," or "home," based on data from the echo sounder.

Switch to autopilot mode, and you can select and combine saved points into a route with specific actions, like opening hatches or turning on lights. For instance, you might program the boat to: 1) navigate to the "Sandbank" position and open the right hopper, 2) proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hopper, and 3) return to the fishing spot while blinking once. The boat then autonomously follows the programmed route, with the capability to store an almost limitless number of spots and routes. Thanks to advanced sensors and the latest GPS and compass technology, the boat achieves precise route guidance, with 90% of its movements accurate to within 30cm.

The system also smartly manages line tension when deploying multiple rods to different spots. If you tension one or both lines during the boat's journey, the built-in electronics detect this and adjust the boat's steering to maintain a direct course, minimizing unnecessary turns and line bends.

While the Carplounge Autopilot replaces the traditional remote control, we offer the flexibility to connect a remote control to the autopilot system, allowing you to choose between tablet or remote control operation. The app is optimized for 10-inch Android tablets, ensuring a seamless touchscreen experience for steering your BaitBoat.
