When Did Shroodle Come to Pokemon GO?

The Toxic Mouse Pokemon, Shroodle, makes its debut in *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, Shroodle represents a fresh face in the Pokemon universe. Post its initial event, Shroodle will remain available for trainers to collect.

Can Shroodle Be Shiny?

At its launch, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant available in *Pokemon GO*. Trainers will need to wait for a future event, possibly one focusing on Poison-type Pokemon or Team GO Rocket, to encounter a Shiny Shroodle.

How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO

In line with the trend of new Pokemon not appearing as wild spawns, Shroodle can only be obtained by hatching it from 12KM eggs. Starting from 12 AM local time on January 15, 12KM eggs have a chance to hatch into Shroodle. The odds are likely to be higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but Shroodle will continue to be part of the 12KM egg pool afterward.

How To Get 12K Eggs

Since Shroodle is exclusively available through 12KM eggs, it's important to know how to obtain these rare eggs. The only way to get a 12KM egg is by defeating one of the Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event is an ideal opportunity to amass these eggs, with Team GO Rocket being more active and Rocket Radars more accessible. You can challenge GO Rocket Grunts at any time to battle Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff, earning a 12KM egg if you have the inventory space.

How To Get Grafaiai in Pokemon GO

Shroodle's evolution, Grafaiai, also debuted on January 15 in *Pokemon GO*. Unlike Shroodle, Grafaiai doesn't hatch from eggs or appear in the wild; it can only be obtained by evolving a Shroodle. To evolve Shroodle into Grafaiai, you'll need 50 Shroodle Candies, which you can gather by hatching multiple Shroodles or by setting Shroodle as your buddy Pokemon.
