Sharp Fangs can be discovered early in your journey through the Windward Plains, right at the start of the story. To kickstart your hunt, you can take on optional quests like "Beware the Chatacabra" or "The Desert is Demanding." These quests will lead you to the Windward Plains, where you'll have a generous 50-minute time limit to explore. Don't forget to prepare by cooking and eating a meal before you set out to boost your performance.

Gaijos

Your primary target for Sharp Fangs should be the Gaijos, small leviathan monsters resembling crocodiles with uniquely shaped snouts. These creatures frequent the riverbeds of Area 8, often swimming alone. You can locate them easily by scanning the purple diamonds on the interactive map near water sources.

Engage these Gaijos with your equipped weapon—they're not tough to take down. After defeating one, carve its carcass to secure 1 x Sharp Fang. Gaijos are a guaranteed drop for Sharp Fangs, making them the top priority. With approximately four to five Gaijos spawning in the Windward Plains, you can repeatedly enter via optional quests to farm more Sharp Fangs as needed.

Another source of Sharp Fangs, though not guaranteed, is the Talioth. These bipedal creatures roam in packs in Area 8 and occasionally Area 13. While they may be a bit more challenging than Gaijos, they're still manageable with starter weapons.

Upon defeating a Talioth, you might receive Sharp Fangs, though you could also get Talioth Scales. Hunting Talioths also allows you to complete the "The Desert is Demanding" quest, which requires you to take down 8 Talioths.
