Monster Hunter Wilds: Earn Bonus Items Before Launch
Niantic and Capcom have teamed up to bring an exciting collaboration event between the mobile sensation *Monster Hunter Now* and the eagerly awaited *Monster Hunter Wilds*. This event, running from February 3, 2025, at 9 am to March 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm (local time), promises exclusive bonus items for fans to enjoy before the release of *Monster Hunter Wilds*.
During this limited-time event, players of *Monster Hunter Now* can dive into the Collab Event Quests to earn a gift code. This code can be redeemed for exclusive in-game items in *Monster Hunter Wilds*, including Mega Potions, Energy Drinks, Dust of Life, and more. To obtain the gift code, players should navigate to the hunter menu in *Monster Hunter Now*, where it will be generated for the selected platform.
The collaboration event also offers other enticing rewards such as an exclusive *Monster Hunter Wilds* Hoodie, a special Collaboration Guild Card background, Weapon Refining Parts, and Armor Refining Parts. These bonuses provide a fantastic incentive to engage with *Monster Hunter Now* before *Wilds* hits the shelves.
In addition to the event, Capcom has announced a second open beta test for *Monster Hunter Wilds* scheduled for February 2025. This test will include content from the first beta, introduce a new monster hunt, and allow character carryover, providing fans with a deeper dive into the game's mechanics and world.
*Monster Hunter Now* is currently in its fourth season, dubbed "Roars from the Winterwind," which started in December and will continue until March 12, 2025. This season brings a new habitat, additional monsters, and the Switch Axe as a new weapon type. Players can also collect various supply items, including Weapon Refining Parts and Armor Refining Parts, just by logging in during the collaboration event. Limited-time packs are available in the in-game shop and web store, featuring Special Carving Knives and Hunting Tickets.
*Monster Hunter Wilds*, set to launch in 2025, is generating buzz alongside other major titles like *Avowed*, *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, *Pokemon Legends: Z-A*, and the highly anticipated *Grand Theft Auto 6*. As a follow-up to 2018's *Monster Hunter: World*, *Wilds* introduces several open-world biomes, 14 weapon types, and supports four-player co-op multiplayer. A unique feature is the Seikret mount, enabling players to carry two weapons while on the hunt.
