New Harry Potter Illustrated Edition Announced, Now Discounted
As a dedicated fan of the Harry Potter series, I find myself drawn back to the enchanting world of Hogwarts time and time again. While the movies offer a fresh take on the beloved story, the illustrated editions of the books provide an even more immersive experience. Although we don't yet have a full set of illustrated books for the entire series, fans have a new reason to celebrate: an interactive edition of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is set to release on October 14, 2025, and is available for preorder now.
Don't mistake these for Jim Kay's illustrated editions; the interactive editions boast their own stunning artwork along with innovative paper-engineered elements that literally leap off the page. You can secure your copy at either Barnes & Noble or Amazon, with the latter offering the best deal.

This edition of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" includes 150 full-color illustrations and features pop-up-like elements. The artwork is brought to life by Karl James Mountford, and the intricate papercraft designs are crafted by Jess Tice-Gilbert. This marks a departure from the previous interactive editions illustrated by MinaLima, which concluded with "The Prisoner of Azkaban." While the style may differ, this new book is a must-have for collectors eager to complete their set.

What About the Other Illustrated Editions?
The illustrated editions by Jim Kay, which have been a visual treat, currently extend up to the fifth book. Unfortunately, Jim Kay stepped away from the project in 2022, leaving the fate of "The Half-Blood Prince" and "The Deathly Hallows" uncertain. However, there remains hope that another talented illustrator will take up the mantle and complete the series.
