Yetuga, encountered at the end of the Mount Heinmach level, is a formidable foe known for its aggressive and frenetic attacks. This boss can unleash both long and short-range assaults, including a leaping slam, making it a challenging opponent right from the get-go. To succeed, mastering the game's combat mechanics—dodging and parrying—is crucial.

Yetuga's arsenal includes:

  • A two-hit combo starting with a left-handed downward smash followed by a right-handed uppercut.
  • A four-hit combo featuring horizontal swipes with either its left or right arm.
  • A downward smash using both arms.
  • A leaping single-handed smash.
  • A jumping grab.
  • A charge.

As you engage with Yetuga, you'll need to learn its attack patterns and find openings to strike back. Parrying, except for the jumping grab, will not only help you avoid damage but also deal significant Stamina damage to the boss. Utilize Yetuga's aggression by dodging its charge and allowing it to smash into a wall, which momentarily stuns it and gives you a chance to attack its ice spikes. Destroying these spikes reduces its attacking potency, giving you a strategic advantage.

In the second phase, Yetuga becomes even more aggressive. You can parry all its attacks except the grab, conserving your Stamina and dealing damage. When Yetuga roars and powers up, keep your distance. It will pick up a giant rock to smash at you, so time your dodge or parry perfectly. Watch out for its frost breath that creates ice spikes; either move away or parry the incoming attack. Use Potent Attacks when possible, and when Yetuga is exhausted, unleash a Brutal Attack for substantial damage, bringing you closer to victory.

Upon defeating Yetuga, you'll be rewarded with 4,800 Lacrima, along with Frozen Mountain gear items and the Necklace of Resolve, enhancing your journey in *The First Berserker: Khazan*.

With these strategies, you're well-equipped to defeat Yetuga and continue your adventure. For more tips and guides, visit The Escapist. *The First Berserker: Khazan is available now in Early Access.*
