Applin Debuts in Pokémon Go Alongside Dynamax Entei

Two exciting Pokémon from the Galar region are making their first appearance in Pokémon Go this month, offering players a mix of sweetness and intensity. During the Sweet Discoveries event, from April 24th to 29th, you can encounter the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Applin. Evolving Applin requires 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples—choose Tart Apples for Flapple or Sweet Apples for Appletun. These apples can be found in the wild, especially around Mossy Lures, and may also trigger Applin encounters.

Throughout the Sweet Discoveries event, expect to see wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will give you additional opportunities to catch themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, offers Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid option includes extra Mossy Lure Modules and more chances to encounter Applin.
