Damasi Rules

• Play on an 8×8 board with 16 men lined up on each side in two rows, leaving the back row empty.
• Men can move forward or sideways one square, capturing by jumping, but cannot move backwards. Upon reaching the back row, a man is promoted to a king, which can then move any number of squares in any direction—forward, backward, or sideways—and capture by jumping over an opponent's piece.
• Captured pieces are removed immediately after being jumped. Jumps must be taken if possible, and the move that captures the most pieces is mandatory. No distinction is made between kings and men in terms of capture value.
• The game concludes when a player has no legal moves left, either due to all pieces being captured or being completely blocked, resulting in a win for the opponent.
• Unlike other draughts variants, Damasi allows for crossing the same square multiple times in a single capturing sequence as pieces are removed immediately.
• Within a multi-capture sequence, turning 180 degrees between captures is not permitted.
